1. Information We Collect

FocusTime does not collect any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other identifying information.

The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server:

• Focus session history (task name, duration, timestamp)
• Daily goal setting
• Focus streak count
• Session category preferences

This data is stored using Android's local storage and can be deleted at any time from within the app or by uninstalling it.

2. Permissions We Request

FocusTime requests no sensitive device permissions. We do not access:

• Camera or microphone
• Contacts or call logs
• Location (GPS or network)
• Storage or files on your device
• Phone state or identity

The only system capability used is keeping the screen awake during active focus sessions, which requires no special permission.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

FocusTime is a free app supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob to display ads. Google AdMob may collect and use certain information to serve relevant ads, including:

• Device advertising ID (Android Ad ID)
• IP address (used for general location at country level)
• Device type and operating system version
• App interaction data for ad performance measurement

We configure AdMob to request non-personalized ads only, which limits data usage for ad targeting purposes.

To opt out of personalized advertising on your Android device:
Go to Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. The only third-party service used is Google AdMob for advertising, as described above.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

All app data (focus history, streaks, goals) is stored locally on your device. You can:

• Clear your focus history from within the app at any time
• Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data

We do not retain any data on remote servers because we do not collect any.

6. Children's Privacy

FocusTime is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is rated "Everyone" and is suitable for all ages.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
